About The Role
As a Home Care Assistant we can offer you: 40p per mile, free uniform, free DBS, free Life assurance, free RAC cover, paid induction 3 week induction program, paid travel time & great pay rates.
Care South, a leading not for profit charity are looking for enthusiastic Home Care Assistants to support our clients in Dorchester and the local area.
This community-based Home Care Assistant role will be supporting clients with a variety of needs including personal care within their own homes, you will need a driving license and access to your own vehicle.

This position is suitable for anyone looking for Care Assistant, Home Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant roles in Social Care.
Are you after flexibility? our Home Care Assistant role delivers care to our clients between 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

Key duties for Home Care Assistants include:
- Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
- Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
- Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
- Regular communications with the office support team

About you:
- Do you have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients?
- Do you have previous experience? this isn't essential, as full training is provided
- Are you the holder of a driving licence with access to a vehicle?
- Do you have business insurance on your vehicle or are you happy to obtain it?
