Galvanizing Operative

We are looking for a hard working and reliable Galvanizer with experience of working in a similar environment.

Previous experience as a galvanizer would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be provided to the right candidate showing the right aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality standards of finished products
• Inspection of products prior to process to ensure quality and safety
• Reporting defects and quality issues to ensure proactive correction
• Operation of overhead crane equipment
• Taking initiative and using your own knowledge and experience to make galvanizing decisions
• Accurate recording and completion of paperwork
• Being safety aware and following health and safety protocols at all times

Pay and Hours:

£11.17 to £11.67 per hour starting wage (dependent on experience) plus performance related bonus pay.

Rotating shift pattern with benefits of a night allowance and production bonus.

• Days: Monday to Friday (7am - 15:45pm plus overtime)
• Nights: Sunday to Thursday (8pm - 04:45am plus overtime)
• Ocassional weekend overtime availability
