An exciting opportunity for a Waiter / Waitress to join the team at Award-winning Stables Restaurant at Cantley House in Wokingham. As a Waiter / Waitress at Cantley House Hotel you will be part of a Foof and Beverage team achieving high standards of culinary expectation for our guests. This role provides an opportunity to create an exceptional dining experience within our busy and vibrant restaurant.

A beautiful vintage boutique hotel and busy events venue set in acres of manicured lawns our hotel is great for a relaxing break yet being so close to London, Reading and Bracknell works equally as well for the more corporate guest. Stables has a great reputation for its food and service.

What are we looking for?

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Be confident in serving 50+ covers per day with additional banqueting as events occur.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Be well presented and have excellent communication skills
• Competent level of EPOS system knowledge (Micros or similar)
• The position is entirely hands on. Positive references are essential
