Communications & Marketing Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a positive and aspirational person to develop and grow our communications and marketing capability so that we can further help save and extend people’s lives from the heart-breaking impact of cancer in Wales.

The role will work particularly closely with research, retail and fundraising colleagues, ensuring that we are integrating our communications and relationship building and raising the profile of the incredible impact our work makes.

You’ll work with our Head of Fundraising & Relationships to identify, contact and build relationships with corporates, bodies such as the Institute of Directors Wales and NFU Cymru, ambassadors (including celebrity and high profile individuals) and major donors.

The role will play a key part in creating campaign programmes and support with direct marketing and paid for advertising. Ultimately, we want more people to know we’re 100% Welsh, we invest in innovate life-changing research and we need the support of individuals and organisations to continue and expand this work.

We ideally want someone with a good mix of communications and marketing skills and experience but are willing and able to support people to develop certain gaps. For us, attitude, aspiration and personality is equally as important as your professional experience and skills.
