Position: Safety Officer – Part-time

Burton Albion Football Club are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Safety Officer to ensure the safety of all visitors and supporters attending the Pirelli Stadium in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Safety Certificate and the club’s policy for spectator safety.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to establishing and maintaining appropriate systems and compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice, controls and current legislation and policies to ensure safety and security.

Full compliance with the Safety Certificate & Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds is central to this role and you will be responsible for supporting the safety team to ensure that the Pirelli Stadium meets the legislation and regulation requirements to enable all events to be held in a safe and controlled environment for the first team home matches and other events held at the stadium including UEFA, FIFA and Charity organised events.

Hours will be part-time and variable and will involve attending all events and some flexibility in working hours to complete compliance documents as and when required, and may incur additional hours for preparation of events when necessary.
