Maintenance Assistant

We are a beautiful Georgian property outside Windsor with a very busy rooms and food and beverage offering. We have circa 80 bedrooms and a large amount of grounds and public spaces. We are looking for an experienced, hands on Maintenance Assistant to come on board the property and drive forward the standards in the maintenance department and the upkeep of the hotel.

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the hotel to the highest possible standards within budget limits and ensuring the hotel is in a fully operational mode, with full statutory & legal compliance.

Duties include:

· To assist the Maintenance Manager in Maintaining all Building Services within the hotel, to a good standard.

· Assist with the planned maintenance and repairs to a safe standard

· Allocate and prioritise work accordingly

· To take responsibility for work carried out, ensuring it complies with H&S.

· Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining all Building Services within the complex in good working order..

· Complete in house project work as agreed with hotel management..

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Assistant position should:

· Have great attention to detail

· Have previous experience working in hotels preferable

· Be hands on

· Have experience of managing projects

· Experience of working with and managing contractors

· Have sound knowledge of health and safety requirements
