Role overview

You will act as a highly skilled Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration Subject Matter Expert within the End User Computing function implementing the latest collaboration technologies, building new processes and automation to consistently improve our UX.

You will be involved with the design, implementation, and support of our M365 messaging and collaboration platforms, working within an ITIL driven IT Services function delivering Problem resolution and 3rd line Incident management to over 10,000 users and endpoints.

You will use your strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex messaging related issues, deploy new features and work with other teams to ensure the messaging and collaboration environment meets the needs of our enterprise.

What you'll do:

• Be a subject matter expert in enterprise scale Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration technologies including Exchange Online, Teams and related services.
• Configure and maintain messaging-related infrastructure including SMTP gateways, email security systems and message hygiene technologies.
• Provide guidance and support on messaging related issues, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Work within an ITIL Framework to support key infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with project teams and third parties to deliver new technologies and infrastructure improvements.
  
  

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 messaging solutions, including Exchange Online and Teams.
• Excellent knowledge of messaging-related technologies including SMTP, DNS, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DMARC/DKIM/SPF and message hygiene.
• Demonstrable expertise and knowledge of general IT technologies, and current industry trends.
• Relevant experience in a technical role within an End User Computing department or similar.

Essential Expertise:

• Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Microsoft Teams.
• Identity and Access Management technologies, policies and associated infrastructure components (on-prem and cloud).
