Due to unprecedented success, we are seeking a Junior CAD Engineer to join our design team, supplying design projects to satisfy both our internal and external customers in needs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar as well as a knowledge of Mechanical engineering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:

· In line with the needs of the engineering schedule produce high-quality, detailed, production ready manufacturing drawings and component lists within specified timeframes.

· Liaise with customers to ensure designs matches your applications.

· Continuously seek to improve the design processes to ensure efficiency and flexibility.

· Liaise with production to assist in the manufacture of product, providing any required information.

· Ensure that the processes within your control adhere to relevant products standards.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED WITHIN ROLE:

· An active and considered approach to problem solving

· Minimum level of HNC or relevant experience

· Sheet metal experience (advantageous)

· Familiarity/able to interpret manufacturing drawings

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels

· Strong IT Skills including Microsoft packages.

· Experience of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor advantageous).

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal errors.

· Proven experience of working effectively as part of a team.

TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT:

In order to ensure that you are able to meet these requirements, training will be given in line with business objectives.
