Technical Services Engineer

Job description

Junior Technical Services / Process Engineer.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Request product specifications from Company Design Centre and ensure compliance with Customer Sales Order

· Convert specification to include manufacturing details, wire weights. Select & design compaction rollers for specification, generate product & wire codes using SAP & check BOMs

· Handle customer technical requests & generate product data sheets as requested by Sales Department.

· Using AutoCAD LT design tooling as required i.e. extrusion points & dies, compaction rollers and factory layout.

· Generate Product Reports from companies’ 3D measuring system.

· Support Manufacturing with technical assistance as required.

· Project Manage customer orders where ITPs & 3rd Party Inspections are required.

· Gather & submit Product Data to Company Design Centre.

· Support manufacturing process improvement activities.

· Write Procedures & Works Instructions.

· Carry out product testing & Certification as required to assist laboratory personnel.

It would be an advantage if the candidate possessed the following attributes:

· Qualification in an Engineering discipline preferred.

· Experience in a similar role would be advantageous however training will be given.

· Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, AutoCAD, SAP.

· Good communication skills.

· Ability to work under own initiative and under own supervision.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Have a flexible approach to work.
