We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor

As a result of their continued growth throughout London, South East and the Midlands, Brogan Group are seeking dedicated individuals for various new and on-going projects. They are looking to recruit a Trainee to join their busy department.

Training on the job will be provided over 2+ years through the company structural career path. Candidate must have good numeracy and communication skills. Also an ability to work to strict deadlines is essential.

Role will include the following responsibilities: -

• Prepare work sheet data by entering rates and descriptions onto excel to send to QS for entry into payment applications.
• Preparation of quotes for additional works on site.
• Undertake surveys, produce estimates and costings for individual projects.
• Preparation of excel worksheet payment applications.
• Attending client meetings to agree accounts face to face.
• Attending site visits with Contracts Managers to learn all aspects of Scaffolding, Hoist and Mastclimbers – this will also give knowledge of the construction of buildings.
• General office filing of work records.
