veterinary technician

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the practice in Northampton.

This is a full time permanent position with 1:6 weekend work.

This is a brand new state of the art hospital. It has 3 theatres, dental suite, X-ray room, ultrasound room, treatment/Laboratory room, a large colleague area with a coffee machine, and air fryer, a quiet room, 4 wards with CASCO heated kennels, dog wash facility, 10 consulting rooms, bedrooms for OOH colleagues, and an outside quiet grass area to sit and enjoy your breaks. They also have a dedicated pharmacy and front of house team.

The role includes theatre (3 vets operating all day), Ward Nurse duties, prep - preparing all the pre-meds, helping knock out placing ET tubes, clipping for surgeries, performing radiographs and placing IV cannulas, and Nurse co-ordinating – day to day running of the clinical area including wards, prep area.
