Resettlement & Reconnection Worker

Glenwood Lodge Project is offering an exciting opportunity to take part in the new Off the Streets project to work with people who are currently rough sleeping to provide rapid intensive assessment and help reconnect and resettle people to a range of appropriate accommodation within Brighton & Hove or to home areas or where they have a proven link.

The post is fixed term until end of September 2024 and the salary range is £27,852 - £29,439 (Scale 6). The post is full time, Monday to Friday, with an expectation of some early morning and evening work, for which salary enhancements will be paid as appropriate.

This role is available as a secondment to internal candidates in line with current council secondment policy/line manager agreement, as well as fixed term contract for external candidates.

About the role

Applicants should have experience of working in the homeless sector and a good knowledge of move on and resettlement processes.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.Work Permits: We may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
