Brett Martin is a firmly established global business, manufacturing an ever-growing range of plastic and building products.
Due to continuous growth and investment, we are seeking to recruit a number of new Trainee Technical Operators, who will have the opportunity to join an exciting and innovative workplace, working with state of the art machinery and equipment.
Trainee Technical Operators
Essential Criteria:
· Have a minimum of 2 years in a technical / mechanical role;
· Demonstrate a clear understanding of performance targets;
· Demonstrate a clear understanding of day to day activities which would include (housekeeping / H&S / recycling / energy efficiency);
· Have good manual dexterity skills;
· Be pro-active in solving technical / process issues;
Desirable Criteria:
· A technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering;
· Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience;
· Experience of TPM preferably in a continuous processing environment;
· Have experience of shift work (including nights and weekends)
