As Canteen Cook your customers will be our Reading based colleagues and on site visitors. Our multi-drop drivers and warehouse Operatives provide a vital and valued service getting food ready to deliver to places like restaurants, pubs, hospitals, schools, care homes and universities. Its certainly builds up an appetite when you are having to pick, pack and check the quality of these refrigerated food items, ready for our drivers to deliver.

We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday, 7am - 3.30pm (40hrs per week)

What you will be doing:

• Serving customers
• Cooking food to meet Health & Hygiene regulations and high standards as set by the catering manager
• Maintaining high levels of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Promoting a positive eating environment through the delivery of great customer service
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety
• Compliance with food handling legislation

What we are looking for:

• Previous cooking and food handling experience
• A friendly and effective communicator
• Reliable and co-operative.
• Cash handling and till operation experience
• Food hygiene training
• Experience of HACCP in relation to food handling
