Position Overview & Specifications

Job Title: Product Manager

Job Location: Douglas House, C.London (4 days)

Contract Length: 6 Months (Initially)

Role Overview:
We are ambitions and have true belief in our NetZero goal. Achieving this will require reinvention of retail and EV. With the intent of being best in class!

At the forefront, we have a dedicated environment to drive said ambitions. Lab 42 is BP’s internal venture studio that invents the future and builds differentiating technology. To support this venture, we are in search of a unique individual support with our retail and EV charging growth focus.

Outside the box thinking, inquisitive and innovative. There is not a set title for you. Everything and nothing at the same time. You will help drive our cultural and product transformation, to implement change towards our Zero Carbon ambition.

What you will do:
Constantly improving and optimizing product positioning based on insights across the whole range of company products
Feed customer insights/feedback and primary and secondary research into product development/improvement roadmap
Assist the team in intelligence gathering and providing insight on a number of areas, ranging from market conditions and trends, competitive landscape, search trends and technological developments
Develop and own product roadmap and associated high-level and detailed product requirements liaising with CTO/Technical Lead and other departments/internal stakeholders
Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
Liaise with other internal departments, who operate on global markets, to drive action throughout the organization to get products to market
responsible for extracting customer and market insights to develop requirements for current and future product range
Plan and carry out product launches, establishing KPIs to assess success and an appropriate A/B testing methodology to suggest improvements based on product data
Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks, including weekly product KPI reports, competitive landscape developments, quarterly trends and market reports

Deeply analytical/numerical and highly proficient at Excel and other MS Office products
