Casual Event Staff

We are looking for a part time waiter/waitress to work within our events team at Bowcliffe Hall from March!

Bowcliffe Hall is an inspiring venue for meetings and a beautiful venue for weddings and special events. Built between 1805 and 1825, Bowcliffe retains the stately atmosphere of a country house, but has the amenities expected of a modern office and meeting venue.

Ultimately, you should be able to provide an excellent overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet customers with a warm welcome
• Confidently serve food/drinks and up-sell any additional products
• Table settings
• Liaise with chefs and working colleagues
• Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Requirements:

• Friendly disposition
• Passionate about delivering to the highest level of customer service
• Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress
• Well presented, with excellent communication skills
• Confident working individually as well as in a team
• Flexible and willing to develop the role into other areas of hospitality when needed
• Some experience with cash register and any ordering information
• Willing to assist in other areas when needed (i.e.cleaning, kitchen support, pot wash)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
