The Role: This role is paramount to my clients continuous strive to be at the forefront of their industry. You will be planning a major part in the development of products that have real world benefits to the general public. For this role you will be comfortable working in a small team whilst taking ownership over all the required firmware design. Although working predominantly on the firmware design, you can also influence all aspects of the product design from concept to implementation. This role is ideal for those with an electronics background looking for a stable, permanent role with realistic development.
For the role as Embedded Electronics Design Engineer, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Degree in software or electronic engineering (or similar with additional relevant experience).
- Ideally 2 years+ industry experience in the development of embedded Software
- Proficient skills and knowledge in 'C' or 'C++' or 'OOP'
- Experience of producing firmware within an RTOS framework (preferably FreeRTOS) would be an advantage
- Wireless connectivity (especially BLE) would be an advantage
- Designing microprocessor circuitry would be an advantage
Package:
- £40,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday+ bank holidays raising to 27 with time serviced
