Network Engineer

This is a great opportunity for a CCNA level engineer based in Belfast & around Northern Ireland to work for a growing IT professional services company. We have a number of live projects and engagements through 2022, and we are looking for hard working, flexible engineers to join our team on a freelance basis.

Engineers will require a laptop, console cable and mobile (and standard toolkit), other tools like stepladder, drills are often required

Tasks will include (bot not be limited to) the following...

• Copying and loading switch configuration
• Understand and check live connections on network switch and create patching schedule and connections with neighboring devices & core switches
• Coordinate with end client to work and test with users
• Migrations
• Network deployments
• Working with multiple vendor hardware types, incl. Cisco, HP, Dell, Aruba, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5, Palo alto & more
• Installation of access points

Engineers needed for in and OOH work

Must have ladder & drill

No guaranteed volumes, but a large UK project (1500 + sites) has just started, which we need to be able to complete

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: £175.00-£200.00 per day

Plus requirements for 2 & 4 hour engagements as well.
