Customer Assistant

About the role:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service, resolving any issues they may have, and assisting them in their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs
• Assisting customers with their queries and resolving any issues they may have
• Operating the tills and handling cash/credit card payments accurately
• Replenishing stock and ensuring the shop floor is tidy and well-presented
• Providing information on products and services
• Processing customer orders and deliveries
• Conducting inventory checks and managing stock levels
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant customer service experience preferred
