We now have a great opportunity for a Graduate Orthotist to join our experienced and supportive team in Kettering and Northampton.
The Northamptonshire Orthotic Service is delivered from two modern, purpose-built units in Northampton and Kettering. These have been specially commissioned to offer patients and Orthotists the highest level of clinical facilities; both sites have on-site workshops, gait analysis and pressure measurement systems. Joint MDT clinics are also held within the Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals and local schools. Using these outstanding facilities, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment.
As a Graduate Orthotist in this service, you'll:
- Gain full clinical experience treating adults and children including close working with specialist orthopaedic consultants as well as dedicated Lycra and paediatric clinics.
- Develop your clinical skills working alongside an experienced local team in facilities designed specifically for Orthotic care
- Gain experience in the use of gait analysis to evidence best patient care
- Provide a patient-centred approach to service delivery as part of a dedicated MDT
