Grade 3 - £23,194 - £29,439 with additional allowance for working nights between 8pm and 6am and bank holiday working

Providing a 24x7x365days Technology Enabled Care service (telecare)

The Careline services objective is to help older, frail, vulnerable or disabled people remain in their own homes, with the knowledge that they are able to request help in an emergency at any time day or night.
Working a rolling rota covering 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, you will be working in a Social Alarm control centre, taking incoming alarm calls from the elderly and vulnerable. You will have a calm, sensitive manner, with the ability to make decisions, taking appropriate action on behalf of a client in the event of emergencies.
Experience of working with older and vulnerable people and or within a telecare service is desirable however not essential. You should also have computerised telephone call handling experience.
You may be required at short notice to work additional hours to meet the needs of service delivery.

An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence using the English Language as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016
