Position Overview & Specifications
The warehouse operative works within a team-based environment to ensure both raw materials and finished goods are received, stored, handled in a safe, efficient and hygienic manner following all Company policies and procedures with special attention to working safely and protecting the environment.
This is a multi-skilled role and the successful candidate could be deployed in any of the roles within the Warehouse Team.
Main responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring raw materials are stored safely and transferred to the correct silo destination, ensure product stock rotation and safe movement/stacking of materials around the site. Accurate, timely movements of raw materials and finished goods as required
. Shifts are 8 hours - 6am - 12pm and 12pm - 8pm - Candidates must be able to cover anytime between 6am and 8pm.
· Support manufacturing to ensure they have the correct materials available to run the production plan
· Ensuring that finished goods and containers are loaded correctly for timely customer delivery and all electronic systems completed accurately.
· Follow the companies “5s” standards, maintaining an organized working environment. At all times demonstrating a “clean as you go” approach in all warehouse and yard areas, reporting any signs of pests or to maintain a pest free environment
· Must be willing to work to, review and collaborate with others in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and complete all required work documentation and follow all procedures
· Demonstrate clear, professional communication ensuring transfer of critical operational information that occurred during shift to other team members and the Warehouse Manager
Requirements (You must have these or be willing to go through training to attain):
· B3 Forklift License
· Banksman certificate
· Manitou License
· Tipper and Bulk Tipper certified
· Shunter License
· Able to perform stock count routines
The ideal candidate will have:
· Systems experience such as an ERP system/Excel/Outlook preferred but training will be given
· Proven organisational skills in terms of planning, controlling timelines and meeting deadlines.
· Strong communicator both verbally and written.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eye for detail.
· Working with heavy stationary and/or moving equipment – you must be able to demonstrate concentration on the tasks at hand as well as an awareness of the overall safety of the operation.
· Full driving licence and access to own transport due to location
.Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehousing environment

Salary: £23,500.00-£29,480.00 per year
