Assisting the Factory Manager in all aspects of stock movement.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Picking of customer orders (FIFO) according to schedule.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Goods in, locating and perform inventory controls. Report any discrepancies.
• Ensure all production lines have components available according to schedule.
• Locating finished stock.
• To perform daily safety check on Fork Lift truck, recording checks, reporting any defects.
• To ensure the warehouse area is kept clean and clear of debris (Clean as You Go).
• Working on their own and as part of a team.
• Assist in maintaining stock location system.

Qualifications and Skills requirements

• Current Fork Truck License, reach, flexi and counter balance. Flexi can be provided if required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work within a busy production environment and unsupervised.
• Good numeracy.
• Good attention to detail / self-disciplined.
• Must be flexible.
• Experience of using a warehouse management system is beneficial
