We have an opportunity within our highly efficient warehouse and as part of our team you’ll fill an essential role in helping us achieve our targets by delivering the right products to our customers on time.

As part of this team you will be responsible for safely manoeuvring and arranging vehicles in a busy yard, you will also need HGV Class 2 too.

You will adhere to all driving legislation required for driving a LGV vehicles and follow all Health and Safety procedures. Complying with all relevant legislation in food safety and chill chain standards.

Ideally, you’ll have food warehousing and distribution experience and you must be fit and healthy as the role requires you to be able to lift objects of up to 20 kilogrammes.

You’ll be used to working to targets and will have an accurate and methodical approach to your work.

Main responsibilities will include

1) Delivery and collect stock from hub depots ( Hoddesdon , Paddock Wood, Reading )

2) Deliver and collect stock from customer base central production sites

3) Vehicle movement in yard

4) Prep vehicles ready for loading ( position bulk heads, plug in and set fridge freezers )

5) Checking Vehicle temperatures

6) Vehicle checks

You will be contracted to 45 hours minimum per week , working any 5 out of 7 days.

The shift start time will be on a rota which ranges from 5pm to 8pm
