Founded in April 2020, our 100-strong team combines climatic and earth sciences, sell-side financial research, earth observation, machine learning, data and technology, engineering, and public policy expertise. We work from six continents.

We are looking for a Ratings Operations Analyst. This key role helps bring together all the different departments involved in the ratings process. It’s a pivotal role that helps in the execution, integrity, and continuous improvement of our ratings operations. • Help create agendas and co-ordinate committee meetings
  • Minute internal committee meetings
  • Deliver publishing process alongside the Marketing team
  • Help deliver ratings using our internal bespoke tools
  • Help coordinate across teams to deliver ratings
  • Track and monitor all in-progress client ratings, liaising with Commercial & Customer success teams
  • Help analyse and understand the performance of the ratings team
  • Contribute to the team on project and resource management

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-growing company
  • Analytical skills - ability to gather and handle quantitative and qualitative data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to build trusting relationships
  • Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets knowledge
  • Preferred: experience using Project Management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Monday, Clickup, Asana, AirTable)
  • Preferred: interest in climate and environmental topics more broadly

Please know that even if you don’t have experience in all the areas above but think you could do a great job and are excited about building a great company culture, bringing transparency to the voluntary carbon market, and being part of a fast-growing team, we would love to hear from you!

What we’ll offer:

  • Growth opportunities that come from working at a fast-paced VC-backed technology business
  • Flexible working arrangements: A central London office space (Old Street) if you wish to work from an office, but opportunity to work completely remote as well.
  • 25 days leave (with additional time off between Christmas and New Year, and for your birthday)
  • Private medical insurance, dental, critical illness cover, income protection, life assurance, medical cash plan, cycle to work scheme, and a health and wellness cash allowance.
  • Opportunity for share options.

Our interview process:

  • Initial screening interview (15 mins)
  • Second interview(s) + skills test
  • Final interview
  • Reference checks + offer

We value diversity at BeZero Carbon. We need a team that brings different perspectives and backgrounds together to build the tools needed to make the voluntary carbon market transparent.
