Finance Internship

Belmond offers a really good and extremely varied opportunity for an intern within the finance department. The role will gain insights into all aspects of the finance world including financial analysis and reporting, treasury, tax and development feasibility.

The main areas of responsibility would be:

• Uploading of non-Workday companies into the system each month
• Help with running Workday to SyRUS reconciliations each month
• SyRUS monthly control checks and running/saving reports
• Assistance with monthly GB management accounts and RevPAR, occupancy, ADR reports
• Assistance with feasibility reviews for potential development projects
• Monthly intercompany reconciliations and follow up
• Assistance with accounts payable function
• Account reconciliations for monthly central closing
• Capex / treasury reports
• Assistance with tax reviews
• Assistance with corporate structure clean up and elimination of entities
• Ad hoc presentations for finance team

Requirements:

• Studying towards or have completed a Finance related degree course or equivalent
• Keen interest in the Hospitality/Hotel industry
• Good level of English (written and spoken communication)

Benefits:
The intern will earn a salary equivalent to the London Living Wage.
