We are currently recruiting for our emergency response control centre for firefighter controllers to join our established teams take and manage 999 and non-emergency calls across Bedfordshire.
Within this role our teams’ action incoming calls, mobilise crews and appliances whilst working in conjunction with other Blue light and local agencies.

Our starting salary for this post is £22,981 rising to £30,632 after training and progression.

About you
You will be attentive and have a keen eye for detail. You will enjoy working within a fast-paced team environment and have passion for supporting others in heightened emotional situations.
You will also hold GCSE Maths and English at grade 4-9 or A to C and be available to work on a 42-hour week shift pattern on a 4 shift on rotation .
