Position Overview & Specifications
Bay Vet Group are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist for our busy first opinion and referral practice, to be based primarily at our Paignton surgery but may also be required to work at any of our surgeries in Teignbridge and Torbay.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a receptionist, ideally within the Veterinary, animal care or rescue industry but those with other customer service backgrounds will also be considered.
The successful candidate must show a high willingness to learn, be motivated, confident and able to interact well with our clients providing a consistent high level of service and customer care.
Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to; answering the telephone and greeting clients, scheduling appointments efficiently, providing advice on a wide range of veterinary subjects and products, stock ordering, registering clients and organising computerised records and maintaining of the reception and consulting areas.
This is a full-time position working 4 days a week plus one Saturday or Sunday in every four.
