The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint a full time class teacher on a permanent contract basis from 1st September 2023. The vacancy is expected to be in lower KS2.

Thank you for the interest you have shown in the full time Class Teacher post for our school. Bathwick St. Mary Church School is part of the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust and is a welcoming, happy and exciting place to be. The school works very closely with Bathwick St. Mary’s Church to maintain and build on our Christian foundation, and we are seeking someone who can fully support this ethos.

You will be working full time in lower KS2 initially and benefit from the experience, support and guidance of a well-established, positive and friendly staff team.

Above all, we are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic individual with a genuine love of teaching and children, who can inspire our children in all areas of the curriculum and uphold our school’s Christian foundation. • A teacher with a genuine love of children and teaching
• An enthusiastic, creative and reflective teacher, with very high expectations of their pupils and themselves
• The ability to work positively and collaboratively with all members of the school team and the wider community
• A good understanding of how to identify and meet individual learning needs within the classroom context.
