Position Overview & Specifications

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for managing monthly reports, budgets and procurement processes, keeping logs and actions plans up to date, liaising with Leadership Group members, supporting the team to organise events and other project support officer duties as required.

Updating the weekly sitrep, taking minutes at key meetings, such as the Homeless Health London Partnership board, Integrated Care Board meetings, Hep C meetings and Clinical Practitioner meetings.

You will work with a dynamic and passionate team of professionals in the Homeless Health London team to deliver system wide change across health and social care sector for people experiencing homelessness in London, whilst supporting the team to delivery London’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Training

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Further training and experience in project management and/or performance management and/or business process activity and/or experience of NHS change management processes
  • Knowledge of project management and/or performance management and/or service delivery management and/or business process activity
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Awareness of London healthcare policy

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate to achieve successful outcomes
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and evaluate information and draw appropriate conclusions
  • Independent thinker with strong problem -solving and sound judgement
  • Minute taking skills required

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in health service, local authority, academic, or related field
  • Experience and ability to work in partnership with other organisations
Desirable criteria
  • Project management experience
