About Macro Client Strategy and overall purpose of the role
  • Macro Client Strategy sits alongside Macro Business Management and works directly with the Marco business to deliver the both the Marco Client Strategy and Markets-wide Client Strategy agenda. This involves partnering with Sales leadership and desk heads to drive strategic change across the sales
agenda to help drive incremental growth opportunities with our Clients and close revenue gaps. The team provides strategic and analytical insight by leveraging a broad set of metrics and performance indicators across the Macro product set. Using these inputs, the team supports business heads
in defining and executing on its Client initiatives, and tracking and communicating performance to senior management.
  • While the primary product coverage is Macro (Rates and FX in G10 and EM), cross-sell into other asset classes is a key focus across Markets and another lens through which opportunities are analysed.
Overall purpose of role
  • The role is based in London and sits within the overall Macro Client Strategy team to drive the delivery of strategic business initiatives and key projects. The role will be challenging and varied, and offers a great opportunity for someone looking to work closely with key
decision makers and steer real change.
Key Accountabilities
  • Building very strong relationships and connectivity with various stakeholders including: Sales and Trading heads, Macro Business Management and Markets Client Strategy peers
  • Driving, influencing and implementing Client Strategy for the Macro business, through the use of MI, business knowledge and partnership with Sales and Trading stakeholders
  • Translating the Markets-wide Client Strategy into the Macro business, and taking a leading role in aligning and tracking Macro performance with the broader agenda
  • Leading key Client Initiatives and supporting various Markets-wide Forums within the Client Governance Framework
  • Providing tactical and strategic analysis to influence and inform short and long-term business decisions impacting our Client franchise
  • Identifying Client revenue optimization opportunities, with a particular focus on Coalition data
  • Supporting the business in articulating and communicating key messages through the preparation of materials for presentations and regular updates
  • Conducting regular meetings with key stakeholders to follow up on actions and enforce a framework that emphasizes accountability and follow through
  • Supporting and overseeing the delivery of Coalition data, Sales budgets and various performance metrics
  • Supporting the overall Macro Client Strategy team to deliver a consistent and standardized output across the Macro business

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated gravitas with senior stakeholders
  • Relevant degree from tier one University
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – both presentation and conversational
  • Strong excel and powerpoint skills and proficiency with numbers and data
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret data precisely
  • Highly organised, proactive and diligent with good attention to detail
  • Results orientated mindset
