Job Title:
Project Procurement Manager

Location: Portsmouth Broad Oak, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £50,840 dependent on skills and experiences


What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and applying procurement processes within projects or business functions to source goods and services where the value, risk or contract warrants special definition or conditions beyond those for a routine purchase
  • Sharing procurement principles and practices, including an understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made across the wider Supply Chain
  • Utilising MRP data and any other relevant planning systems
  • Interfacing with key stake holders (Quality engineering projects) to deliver consistent supplier performance
  • Demonstrating subcontract management and supply relationship management using relevant tools and techniques

Your skills and experiences:

  • Complex procurement experience & sub-contract management
  • Understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made across the wider Supply Chain
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to all levels of stakeholders
  • Providing training and advising new team members
  • Managing own workload with the ability to prioritise
  • SAP experience and CIPS is advantageous
