Job title:
Project Manager

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – there will be a requirement to be on site for 3 days a week

Salary: Circa £56,300 - dependent on skills and experience


What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll will be responsible for managing a medium sized enthusiastic professional team over a number of Programmes
  • Be able to comfortably support the future individual and whole team development
  • You will liaise with numerous stakeholders and functions to resolve issues and risks within the management of obsolescence
  • We’d like you to play a key part in influencing and supporting in the creation and implementation of strategies, management plans and policy documents
  • You’ll be required to attend customer meetings to report project progression and escalate issues and risks
  • Be able to deputise for the Senior Project Manager in their absence
  • Act as escalation point for project issues and risks
  • You’ll have the role of creating an enduring solution across multi-programmes
  • Have the ability to develop your own skillset

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of Project and Stakeholder Management
  • You’ll already have a healthy Awareness of Obsolescence Management
  • Experience with interfacing with various wide ranging functions
  • You’ll be passionate and dedicated about embracing new challenges

The Obsolescence Management Team:

You will join team of circa 15 work friends that are all passionate about what we do and enjoy the wide ranging challenge of managing obsolescence across the main build programmes with close interfaces established with the Customer community. No day is the same and we get involved with the full life cycle of the programmes; interfacing daily with a wide range of business and support functions.
