This role is working for an ambitious and innovative food manufacturer that imports and supplies their products all throughout the UK to wholesalers and retailers.

About the Stock Control Manager job

You will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained per company targets plus overseeing the stock control team, ensuring all tasks are completed to meet business objectives.

Key tasks

• Direct line management of the stock control team, identifying and delivering training needs as required.
• Manage stock levels for all raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished products.
• Coordinate the flow of materials within or between departments, according to daily and forward manufacturing schedules.
• Ensure all required packaging and raw materials are available to minimise downtime.
• Highlight stock levels on delisted products to coordinate usage of redundant products and packaging to minimise stock write-offs.
• Oversee and review stock usage and stock turnover to reduce the overall length of stock holding time.
• Analyse and report on stock adjustments monthly, highlighting any issues and proposing changes.

About You

• Experience working in a food manufacturing, production, or warehousing environment.
• Strong stock, inventory, warehouse management, or similar experience.
• Highly organised with the ability to ensure stock accuracy and maximise stock warehouse capacity.
• A strategic mindset, being able to identify improvement opportunities and challenge existing processes.

The Stock Control Manager job is based in East Anglia and is paying £35,000 - £45,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday.
