Position Overview & Specifications

Risk Control Administrator – Salary of up to £35,000
Location: Bristol, Sheffield, York, Norwich
Aviva are currently looking for a Risk Control Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis.

In this exciting new role, you will engage with and support our Suppliers, UKL Governance & Assurance, as well as the wider business.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone that is looking to further progress their career within Risk Management
A bit about the job:
You will work with the wider Supplier Relationship Manager team and our Suppliers to positively impact customer outcomes, by improving the control environment. You will be tasked to ensuring risk events are remediated quickly by our the Suppliers to minimise customer detriment, and supporting the supplier with the management of any dependencies and any key design decisions that may be required.
Other duties include supporting our Suppliers with Control Testing ORR testing activity, managing system updates ICARE records in line with our Risk methodology framework ORCM Framework, reviewing and analysing data received from our Suppliers, and reporting on Risk Events & Control Issues that could have an impact on our Risk and Control environment.
You will be responsible and accountable for your own work and deliverables, which will support our overall business strategy and goals, whilst ensuring compliance with the Aviva Risk Framework, relevant policies, business standards and regulators’ expectations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Planning and organising skills – an independent and proactive worker
  • Proven Communication and presentation skills
  • Relationship and stakeholder management at relevant levels to my role
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret multiple / wide ranging data sets
  • Strong customer focus
