Position Overview & Specifications

Business Analyst
Are you someone who has demonstrable business & data analyst skills and experience? Do you have a strong understanding of financial control principles? We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.
A bit about the job:
The role is part of the Global Transformation team. The Global Transformation Function is a trusted partner to the Aviva Investors business, responsible for delivering transformative programmes aligned to the strategic objectives & values of Aviva Investors. This role supports Aviva Investors strategic goals supporting the implementation activity across the portfolio and main activities include capturing business and data requirements and documenting current state (people, process, and systems) and working with the business to define the target state operating model, as a result of change. You will also be working with processes owners to ensure standard operating procedures are in place. You will need to analyse and document the requirements of business users to deliver the agreed business outcomes and analyse and identify solutions to satisfy business requirements - including software evaluation/selection and evaluation of changes to systems, organisation, business process and individual roles and responsibilities. You will need to contribute to effective business analysis across the organisation and transfer skills to others where possible and where appropriate manage small to medium projects/initiatives.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Experience working within Investment Management
  • Effective stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels
  • Experience of managing across multiple 3rd parties
  • Experience of business change and definition of target state models (people, process & systems)
  • Experience of illiquid / Real Assets a preference, but not essential
  • Fully competent in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies
