Rear Farm Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Rearing Farm Manager at Belstane Farm. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be taking responsibility for the effective and efficient management of this High Generation Rear Farm.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate attributes including strong leadership and people management skills, excellent bird husbandry and welfare experience, good organisational skills and a sound financial awareness. You must also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
This farming operation requires a high level of dedication and attention to detail, in order to ensure the quality of stock and data generated is to the highest standards.
In order to achieve this you will have excellent planning and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure. You must be self-motivated and focused, with a capability of leading and managing a small team of 8-10 people, ensuring they are trained and developed to their full potential.
This position will appeal to an open-minded team player who is responsive to change and motivated by new challenges.
