Position Overview & Specifications
This Research Assistant position is part of the Brain Imaging workstream of the mTBI-PREDICT clinical trial, a collaboration between the University of Birmingham, Aston University, and University of Nottingham (https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/news/2022/civilians-and-military-take-part-in-study-to-improve-concussion-prognosis). The expected start date is in April 2023. A 1-year post potentially being progressed to further years dependent of onward funding success.
The role will involve data collection of a range of MRI and MEG measures to assess the impact of mTBI. You will be part of an integrative and multi-disciplinary team of researchers and clinicians working collaboratively to deliver this workstream. As well as working with colleagues across the three partner sites there will be possibilities to contribute to co-authored publications, as well as potential longer-term work, subject to further funding being secured.
