ASN Capital is a group of companies involved in construction, property development, investment, and rentals. This position is based at Winton Halls, a high-quality block of student accommodation located in the Winton area of Bournemouth.

Job Description

We require a permanent Student Reception Host. You will be the main point of contact for students in the reception and lobby area of a block of student accommodation in Winton, Bournemouth.

This position is suitable to be filled on a full-time basis or by two or more part-time applicants.

Reporting to the Property Manager, the successful applicant will bring their skills and experience to the reception team. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, committed, and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure residents experience a welcoming atmosphere and enjoy living at Winton Halls
• Managing the reception desk ensuring the area is kept tidy and supplies are stocked
• Answer all student queries, receive, and process deliveries, record customer service tasks
• Manage and regularly update the student social media platforms (Facebook, etc.)
• Arrange seasonal events
• Inspect communal areas of the building and respond to minor issues that require immediate remedy
• Carry out viewings for prospective residents / customers
• Ensure the building is always safe, tidy and a welcoming environment
• Assist with head office administration and reception duties when required
• Handling enquires from residents across the other properties when needed
• Any other duties reasonably required

Qualifications

Essential requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Enthusiastic, efficient, well-motivated with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills including both oral and written
• Proficient level of computer literacy
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a building reception role
• Flexible – able to work from any of our offices when required (all within Bournemouth area)
• First aid qualification

Additional information

Hours:

• Monday to Friday; 42.5 hours per week between 8.30am – 5.30pm (30-minute unpaid break per day)
• This is a permanent position
• Suitable for either full-time or part-time applicants. If applying for a part-time position, please include details of your availability and desired number of weekly working hours in your application

Benefits:

• Wage: £10.90 per hour
