This is an exciting chance to join our expanding travel company backed up with 22-year history in the tourism industry. Our new UK office is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of travel advisors and sales offering holidays to Asia.
Job description and required skills:
- As a travel advisor, you’ll be working with clients on telephone, via email, and face to face. Interpersonal skills and good communication in spoken and written English are essential.
- You will be supported in all areas of sale and tour operation by our own ground offices in Asia in order to design memorable and creative tour itineraries for customers. Learning and expanding destination knowledge is part of daily work routines.
- Teamwork is one of the most important elements to ensure an efficient, positive and supportive network with colleagues, aiming towards team achievements.
- Experience of two years in travel agency/consultancy is preferred but not essential as job training will be provided
- Competence in using Microsoft Office is essential
- Having travelled to Asia
- Work hours for part-time positions: either 9.30am – 1.30pm or 1.30pm to 5.30, Monday to Friday plus one Saturday every two weeks. Flexible hours and full-time positions are also available, please include your preference in your application email or CV.

Location
Our office is located in Ipswich town centre, in a prominent position on a key traffic route in a beautifully kept heritage building. We are on the local bus routes circuit in and out of town. There are parking options available nearby for those who travel by car.
