Meeting & Events Operation Manager

We are recruiting for our first art’otel in London! A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the new, iconic Battersea Power Station development. Perched on the Electric Boulevard, the 164 keys art’otel London Battersea power station sits in the heart of this newly energised neighborhood, offering restaurants, bars, shops and galleries, amidst the eye-catching architecture that surrounds the historical Battersea Power Station.

We are looking for an Meeting and Events Operations Manager who:

Helps and supports the event organisers to ensure their event is as expected and is a memorable day

Organises and schedules all Meeting & Events according to specific requirements

Will take responsibility for the successful running of all events

Manages day-to-day staffing requirements, and plan and assigns work. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help improve team member’s performance

Will oversee and manage the productivity of payroll, expenses, cost of sales, par levels and general stock control in line with financial procedures

Works closely with other departments including the kitchen team

Is passionate about exceeding guests’ expectations

Has previous experience as an Meeting & Events Operations Manager or Assistant Meetings & Events Operations Manager in a hotel

As an Meeting and Events Operations Manager, you will receive:

Two wellness days per year, meaning all team members start with 30 days holiday per year (pro rata) – this increases with service!

Salary: £32'000 a year plus service charge

Two meals per day, every day (including days off if you wish to come in!)
