We are looking to hear from experienced Production Execs to help support all aspects of physical production as part of our growing original scripted content efforts, both in-house and with our partners. This position will report to the tv+ UK/EU Production lead, your responsibilities broadly include supporting scripted productions across the drama slate with our French & German production partners and then potentially across other territories in EU, including vetting budgets and schedules, curating vendor and crew relations, and supporting Apple TV+ creative teams, from development through delivery.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as a Line Producer / Production Executive on scripted series shows in France/Germany. Experience in other European territories an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, with either German &/or French is essential.
  • Knowledge of the French & German Film & TV regulatory landscape
  • Ability to create and check specific production schedules.
  • Ability to create and check production budgets, cash flows and cost reports.
  • Shown ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Thoughtful and innovative problem solver.
  • Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Software requirements: Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Essential: Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling

Description

You will work across EMEA scripted output. Act as liaison with production / crew and all Apple TV+ departments. Vet Production budgets as well as Covid budgets and protocol plans. Support EU Creative Execs in scripted Work closely with other teams across Production Finance, Production Legal and Business Affairs to help get productions through the Greenlight process. Share and speak to Apple production manual and guidelines in regards to both company policy and Covid-19 protocols. Work with closely with UK colleagues in Production to ensure entire team is on track / in synch across various procedures and initiatives across Apple TV+ Ensure major landmarks are met (e.g. budget lock, budget approval, kick-off calls, department launch calls, deliverables, international filming activity, security sign-off, health and safety sign-off, etc.) Meet with show production managers, line producers and creative executives in budget and production meetings. Maintain accurate schedules, reports and tracking system for all EMEIA commissioned scripted projects. Work closely with Apple’s Post, Legal and Scheduling team to ensure dates and deliverables are current. Support various external training & I&D initiatives both internal and externally as required.
