Operations Manager

‘Apex Wiring Solutions are a Durham City based manufacturer of high volume electro-mechanical components used in the construction industry. We are currently looking to fill the role of Operations Manager (Director designate ).

The role

You will be responsible for managing all departments of the business to ensure the company achieves it’s targets of producing best in class products on time and within budget. You will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process including technical, purchasing, production and project management. You will be responsible for driving the business forward, increasing profitability, quality and customer experience. You will lead and motivate our people with enthusiasm and ensure full compliance to all HSE requirements making us an employer of choice. A thorough knowledge and understanding of MRP (SAP) software is a requirement of the role.

The person

You will be a highly motivated and driven individual with a first class communication skills. You will be educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline and have a minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with some electrical background/knowledge. A focused individual who is ambitious to grow within an equally ambitious company and is looking to be an integral part of a great management team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
