The Role

Security Officer - Up to £23,712 annual salary - Stoke on Trent - Full time - Permanent

We are currently looking for a Security Officer based in Stoke at the Royal Stoke Hospital paying up to £23,712 per annum.
Security Officers play a vital role in ensuring the safety of staff and the larger public at the hospital. You will be responsible for protecting the hospital against loss, theft and damage. You will monitor and patrol the car parks. You will also be giving clear directions, support, and customer service to both the public and staff within the Hospital.

We have a variety of shifts available to suit the right person.
You will need to have an SIA license.
What you'll do:
  • You will be patrolling the premises on foot
  • You will be answering phone calls
  • You will be aiding in general office work
  • You may be helping with preparing reports
  • You will be ensuring that Patients, Visitors and Staff are parking correctly on site
  • You will be liaising with the internal Hospital Security team and the Police
What you'll bring:
  • You will have excellent Customer Service Skills
  • You MUST have a valid SIA License (Door supervisor or Security guard) is essential for this role. The company will pay for renewals, inclusive first aid at work and the new required top up training
