Interior Designer

An exciting full-time position has become available for an Experienced Interior Designer within our busy Interior Design Department here at Andersons of Inverurie.

We are looking for someone to join our creative team.

The role would involve advising and inspiring clients on the shop floor as well as creating colour schemes and making design suggestions for window dressings, upholstery, wallpaper, flooring, furniture and giving technical advice. Working on both commercial and residential projects both independently and with fellow designers, also liaising with colleagues in our other departments. Helping with the day to day functioning of the shop floor. Responsibility for your clients project from start to completion.

The applicant should be reliable and willing to help with all tasks as required. They should be able to multi-task, be highly organised and possess good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Profile:

• A keen interest in soft furnishings
• A passion for interior design and a creative flair
• Knowledge of basic sewing
• Good written skills
• Good IT skills
• Proactive problem solving
• Proficient in ACE for windows preferable but not essential
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work well within a team
• Minimum of 2 years industry experience

5 days per week on a rota basis (Includes Weekends) 9.00 am - 5.00pm (11.45am – 5.00pm on Sundays).
