The Role

As a result of the continued growth and success of the Almac Group, we are expanding our central Software Engineering provision to meet the growing needs of the business. In addition to ongoing recruitment at our global headquarters in Craigavon, Almac Central Services is now expanding their Software Engineering provision to a new North West campus, situated in Derry/Londonderry with opportunities for developers of all levels of experience, to join our Software team.

Our Software Engineers work on an array of exciting in-house and cloud based projects covering areas such as electronic labels, patient and clinician facing applications, supply chain, software integrations and various R&D initiatives.

These applications are built using modern languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, Spring, Spring-boot, supported with cutting edge tooling such as JIRA and GITLab. We also offer various opportunities to work on cloud based projects such as AWS/Serverless and MS Power BI (Azure).

Immediate opportunities exist across the following roles:

• Associate Software Engineer

• Software Engineer

• Senior Software Engineer

• Principle Software Engineer

Working Pattern

These roles are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a full time basis and are eligible for standard flexi time (core hours of 1000 – 1600 hours) and partial home working.
