Are you a qualified and experienced English language tutor? Do you have a passion for helping people achieve their career aspirations? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking Seven talented and enthusiastic English language tutors to deliver a short project over eight weeks, starting on 15th May 2023, for 20 hours per week, paying £20 per hour. The project aims to teach English to applicants from other countries who are seeking employment opportunities in Scotland.

As an ideal candidate, you will be TEFL, CELTA or TESOL qualified, and have excellent IT skills to deliver the course remotely. You will be responsible for delivering courses virtually to a group of 20 customers per cohort over a period of six weeks, for 16 hours per week. You will also conduct one-to-one diagnostic assessments for each learner to identify their current comprehension level of the English language, and their learning requirements to achieve a basic level of English and create an action plan for each learner to meet the course's objective.

Your role will involve teaching the learners to understand the basic requirements of their employers and core employment stipulations, including health and safety requirements. You will provide support in speaking, reading, and writing English, including conversation sessions, to improve general English usage. Additionally, you will deliver English for employment, which includes specific English terminology required for different sectors such as cleaning, social care, hospitality, and warehousing.

The induction for this project will take place on 15th May for two weeks, and the delivery of courses will run between 30th May and 7th July 2023. The delivery of courses will be hybrid, with both one-to-one and group sessions.
