Home Helpers – Self Employed

Surrey Wide locations: Weybridge

Fee: £12 - £15 per hour

About the role

Our Help at Home Service is available to clients between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday so there is no need for weekend or evening availability required.

As a self-employed Home Helper you will visit older people in their own homes and you will be providing a wide range of household services: including cleaning, dusting, change the bed, vacuuming, laundry and ironing. Some older people may also request to have errands completed for example shopping or picking up prescriptions. Please note that there are no personal care duties involved in this role

About you

Our Home Helps need to have a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people with a flexible attitude and good time management skills. Previous experience with the elderly and/or as a professional cleaner preferred; high standards and a kind, friendly and compassionate attitude are essential.

This is a rewarding activity as our Home Helps can form friendly relationships with older people.

Preferably you will need to be a driver, although driving is not essential for all engagements, with your own transport and will need to inform your motor insurance company that you will be using your vehicle for business purposes and your motor insurance documents should show this.

You will need to have your own indemnity insurance and portable enhanced DBS check or willing to obtain one which we will be able to assist with and your cost will be approx. £50.00

Fluent level of English is essential.

Guidance and support is offered at all times and induction is provided.
