Our agency is seeking a Afro Hair & Beauty Specialist who can offer our customers a variety of hair/beauty services with a friendly, engaging and professional manner. The Hair/Beauty Specialist must have extensive knowledge of most products, as well as be willing to work in a fast-paced environment that has a lot of sensory stimulation. The Hair/Beauty Specialist will also be required to do some inventory management, while simultaneously providing excellent customer service.

Afro Hair Services (AHS) is a completely new breed of recruitment agency. With ability and agility at our core, our cutting-edge operations allow us to provide world-class service to our mobile and salon clientele. We provide experienced and customer-focused hair and beauty providers like yourself hassle-free.

We are now seeking more experienced afro/black hair specialists in all types of braiding, wigs, natural hair, treatments, cutting and styling multitextured hair, etc. As well as looking for nail technicians, make-up artists, massage therapists, etc.

The Mobile Service role involves you working with various clients at their home, hotel, office, events, etc. You must dress appropriately as well as have all the necessary tools required for hair/beauty treatment.

The Salon Cover involves you covering for one day or a specified time period for our various salon clients. You are to meet the required standards our clients expect that include and not limited to appropriate attire, time management, customer care, met skill sets to accomplish service, can-do attitude etc.

Opportunities

The mobile service role is an opportunity for you to grow your clientele; you can leave your business card/social media details with clients, they can also request you again through us or directly to you.

The Salon Cover can enhance your skills with opportunities to grow in the industry such as management roles or permanent job positions. Please note this role does not tolerate client poaching of any kind.

Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £10.11-£15.65 per hour

Experience:

• stylist: 3 years (preferred)
• Hairdressing: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
