People are living longer than ever before, and we’re excited by the opportunities this brings. As a purpose-led business, we’re focused on supporting our customers as they navigate through new stages of their lives and all the moments that matter. We’re here for everyone who wants to make the most of their time on the planet and leave it a little better than they found it – however grand or humble their ambitions.
We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Insurance, Savings, Investments.
Here at Aegon, our graduate scheme has been expanded to offer you a diverse range of investment proposition experience throughout your 2-year contract. You will have the opportunity to rotate placements in; Workplace Investments, Retail Investments, Responsible Investment and Investment Oversight.
Graduates form a valuable and respected part of our wider Investment Solutions department. In your role, you will be given ownership of a number of tasks and responsibilities where you can have an impact on the business and our customers.
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You have knowledge of basic investment principles or experience in this field
  • You’re motivated and diligent with the right attitude to succeed with our close-knit team
  • You have a creative and analytical mindset
  • You’re a good communicator with an eye for detail
What’s in it for you?

  • Fully funded Investment Management Certificate with paid leave to support your studies
  • A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%
  • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
We know our staff have busy lives and commitments outside work, so we work flexibly where possible and have a hybrid approach to office working (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home). It’s important that you live (or are willing to relocate) within a commutable distance of Edinburgh by the start date in September 2023.
We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.
